PITBULL DAYCARE Hard At Work On 'Unclean'
August 6, 2003San Antonio, Texas-based PITBULL DAYCARE, featuring former NEUROTICA drummer Jason West, have entered A&M studios in Hollywood, California with producer Fred Coury (CINDERELLA) to record their new album, "Unclean", due in early 2004 through Cleopatra Records. "The basic tracks sound unbelievable and are starting to take shape!" reads a post on the band's web site. Among the tracks set to appear on the CD are "Lies", "Spoon", "Unclean", and "Not Fair". The CD will include a multi-media DVD of the making of the record and behind-the-scenes footage of "the boys getting crazy". PITBULL will also play several shows in Hollywood while they are in town recording, including gigs at such venues as The Viper Room, Dragonfly, The Cat Club, The Troubadour, The Key Club and The Whisky A-Go Go. The latter two clubs is where they will be shooting footage for the video. In addition, "Stephen Pearcy from the legendary cock-rock band RATT showed up to a PITBULL rehearsal and sat in with the boys on 'Sheer Heart Attack', a song that will appear on the new disc. Pearcy will be doing back-ups on the record. Pearcy also has a new record entitled 'Back in the Cellar' in which [PITBULL frontman] Stephen Bishop will sing one of the old RATT classics with the likes of Corey Taylor [SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR], Zakk Wylde [OZZY OSBOURNE], Dimebag [Darrell, PANTERA], just to name a few."
In other news, PITBULL DAYCARE are recording a song called "Slam" for ESPN's X-Games/Bluetorch Networks. The band also "caught up with Keanu Reeves and his new band BECKY at The Viper Room and partied with him after the show! The boys are trying to get him to play on a song on the disc! There is talk that CYPRESS HILL and KRS-1 among others are to appear on the CD."
